Privacy policy
This page describes what this site collects. The short answer: on its public pages, nothing but the address you leave if you join the waitlist, and the bare minimum in the one area where you sign in, “Manage my subscription”. Data entered in the app is covered by a separate policy, linked below.
Who is responsible for your data
Mahugnon Ancelin DOFONHAKOU, sole trader, IFU 0202421275530 Îlot SB, Parcelle SB, Maison AKONAKPO MARTIAL DOFONHAKOU, Quartier Tankpè, Abomey-Calavi, Republic of Benin privacy@nilerawellness.com No data protection officer has been appointed to date; this address serves as the privacy point of contact.
What this site collects — and why
On its public pages, a single piece of personal data, and only if you give it: the email address you leave in the “Join the waitlist” form. It is used only to tell you when the Nilera app launches, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to privacy@nilerawellness.com. Stored with it are the language and address of the sign-up page, the date, and the version of the notice shown under the form. Nothing else is asked — above all, no health data. It is never sold or shared. One page is the exception, “Manage my subscription”. To sign you in, it asks for your email address so it can send a single-use code; once you are signed in, the page reads your subscription and, where applicable, your referrals. The session token is kept in your browser’s local storage — it is not a tracker, it follows nothing, and it disappears when you sign out. The site never sees your health data: that stays in the app. If you request a referral payout, your mobile money number is sent encrypted, then erased ninety days after the request is handled. The only audience measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics, an aggregated measurement provided by the site’s own host: no cookie, no browser fingerprinting, no individual identification — and no consent banner required. No advertising trackers, no profiling, no reselling of data. Like any host, our provider records visitors’ IP addresses and request timestamps in its technical logs, solely to deliver the pages and protect the service. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie, short-lived, which cannot track your browsing.
Processor
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), bound by a data processing agreement incorporating the European Union’s standard contractual clauses, which govern transfers outside the European Economic Area. The “Manage my subscription” area queries the app’s database, hosted by Supabase in Ireland, and the email service Resend, also in Ireland, for the sign-in code and the renewal reminders. Waitlist addresses are kept in that same database, at Supabase in Ireland. No other provider is involved on this site.
Retention
Apart from the waitlist, this site keeps nothing of its own: what “Manage my subscription” displays belongs to your app account and follows that policy’s retention periods. The session token lives in your browser and is cleared when you sign out. A mobile money number sent for a payout is erased ninety days after the request is handled. A waitlist address is erased no later than twelve months after sign-up, or sooner on request. The host’s technical logs are rotated automatically on a schedule it defines.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. Those rights apply to your waitlist address and to your app account’s data — which you can also delete yourself from “Manage my subscription”. For any request, write to privacy@nilerawellness.com or use the contact page. You may also lodge a complaint with Benin’s Personal Data Protection Authority (apdp.bj) or, if you live in the European Union, with your country’s supervisory authority.
What about the app’s data?
The Nilera app processes health data and is covered by a separate, more detailed privacy policy, which you accept when you sign up. It is available at any time from within the app and at nilerawellness.com/confidentialite. Our technical commitments are set out on the security & data.
